Sales & Operations Manager – Showroom Operations

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and experienced professional to lead and oversee the operations of our clothing showroom network. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high customer service standards, and managing showroom teams effectively. This position is based at our Head Office in Piliyandala.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across all showrooms through effective planning, execution, and monitoring of sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives to increase overall showroom profitability.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate showroom teams to achieve sales and operational objectives.
  • Conduct regular showroom visits to monitor performance, ensure compliance with company standards, and provide guidance to showroom staff.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop showroom employees to enhance sales performance and customer service standards.
  • Monitor and analyze sales reports, market trends, and customer preferences to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, stock transfers, and stock accuracy across all showrooms.
  • Ensure attractive visual merchandising standards and maintain showroom displays in line with brand guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales, operational, and performance reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree or professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retail operations, showroom management, or sales management, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service practices.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both English and Sinhala.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
  • Well-groomed and professional personality with a positive attitude.
  • Age below 45 years.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to company showrooms located in Colombo, Matara, Tangalle, and other locations as required.
