ROLE DESCRIPTION
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Colombo.
- As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities to support the company's growth objectives.
- You will proactively generate qualified leads, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, engage prospective clients, and create opportunities through effective networking, prospecting, and relationship-building activities.
- You will be responsible for managing opportunities throughout the sales cycle, maintaining disciplined follow-ups, supporting proposal and presentation activities, and driving opportunities towards successful close.
- This role requires a highly motivated, commercially focused, and results-driven professional who can consistently achieve targets, overcome challenges, open new markets, build lasting client relationships.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Information Technology, Management, or a related field
- Partial or Full professional qualifications in Sales, Business Development, CRM, Marketing, or related disciplines from a recognized institution (CIM, SLIM -etc)
- Understanding and Knowledge On:
- B2B sales principles
- Consultative selling approaches and
- Professional client engagement practices
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Have completed at least 6 months of practical industrial training or an internship focusing on B2B Sales / Business Development.
- Exposure to ERP solutions, enterprise software, IT services, consulting services, managed services, or technology solution environments will be highly preferred
- Experience handling business stakeholders & decision-makers
- CRM & pipeline management experience is preferred
