Data Entry Intern – Procurement

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update procurement-related data in company systems and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain purchase orders (POs), supplier records, and procurement documents.
  • Assist in tracking orders and updating procurement status reports.
  • Verify data accuracy and ensure all records are up to date.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical procurement files.
  • Coordinate with team members to collect and update required information.
  • Prepare reports and summaries as required by the department.
  • Support daily administrative and data management activities within the Procurement team.

Qualifications

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level completed (School leavers are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry procedures.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a merchandising environment.
