Data Entry Intern – Procurement
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update procurement-related data in company systems and spreadsheets.
- Maintain purchase orders (POs), supplier records, and procurement documents.
- Assist in tracking orders and updating procurement status reports.
- Verify data accuracy and ensure all records are up to date.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical procurement files.
- Coordinate with team members to collect and update required information.
- Prepare reports and summaries as required by the department.
- Support daily administrative and data management activities within the Procurement team.
Qualifications
- G.C.E. Advanced Level completed (School leavers are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry procedures.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop within a merchandising environment.
