Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and services required by the company.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain purchasing records and update supplier databases.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to identify purchasing requirements.
  • Visit suppliers and collect required items when necessary (approximately one day per week).
  • Support the Purchasing team in daily operational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification.
  • School leavers are encouraged to apply.
  • Male candidates are preferred due to the nature of field visits.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
