About NORVI Controllers

NORVI Controllers is a Sri Lankan electronics design and manufacturing company that exports industrial IoT hardware to Europe and North America. Our products are shipped internationally since 2014. We are a growing export business operating across engineering, production, sales, and international partnerships. This role sits at the centre of that operation.

The Role

We are looking for an Executive & Operations Assistant to support senior leadership across a broad range of business functions. This is a role with genuine scope — you will be involved in communications, business administration, coordination across teams, and the preparation of professional materials for internal and external use. The right person is proactive, organised, and has professional maturity to handle sensitive business communications with accuracy and discretion. You will operate with a high degree of trust and independence, managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-moving environment. This role is based at our Midigama facility. After a probationary period, a hybrid arrangement of 2 days on-site and 3 days remote is available for candidates who demonstrate strong performance.

What You Will Do

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate priorities across multiple workstreams
  • Draft and send professional correspondence on behalf of senior leadership — including communications with international business contacts, partners, and customers
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, business reports, and briefing documents from provided inputs and data
  • Track action items across teams and follow up internally to ensure timely completion
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process — job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and offer administration
  • Handle business documentation, filing, regulatory correspondence, and administrative records
  • Coordinate with the finance team on expense management, invoice processing, and accounting system entries
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather operational updates and consolidate them into clear, accurate summaries
  • Identify and flag operational issues proactively — this role has broad visibility across the business and is expected to use it constructively

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Coordinator, or in a similar role — experience in a small company, export business, or founder-led organisation is a strong advantage
  • Excellent written English — the majority of correspondence handled in this role is with international contacts
  • Strong organizational ability and reliable follow-through — you close the loop with best-practice processes
  • Discretion and professionalism — you will work with confidential business information across multiple functions
  • Comfortable working independently in a high-growth environment where priorities evolve
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office — documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Familiarity with tools such as Zoho, Slack, or project management software is an advantage
  • Prior exposure to a manufacturing, engineering, or export environment is a strong advantage — you do not need a technical background, but comfort working alongside technical teams is essential

What We Offer

  • Salary: LKR 70,000–100,000/month based on experience
  • Permanent position with EPF/ETF
  • Hybrid flexibility (2 days on-site / 3 days remote) after probation, based on demonstrated performance
