As part of our 25th Anniversary journey, SLID is expanding its team to strengthen our financial operations. We invite dynamic, detail-oriented professionals to apply for the following positions:

Finance Executive – Finance Operations, Compliance & Collections

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process member subscriptions and renewals.
  • Issue invoices for memberships, sponsorships, events, training programmes, and publications.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and collections.
  • Maintain debtor and creditor ledgers.
  • Process supplier payments and staff reimbursements.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain petty cash records.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
  • Coordinate annual audit requirements.
  • Maintain fixed asset register.
  • Prepare and submit statutory tax schedules.
  • Monitor VAT registration thresholds and advise management accordingly.
  • Prepare VAT returns and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external tax requirements and assessments.
  • Prepare VAT returns if applicable.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors.

Finance Trainee – Finance & Administrative Support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with invoicing and collections.
  • Support payment processing.
  • Update accounting records and finance databases.
  • Assist in event income and expenditure tracking.
  • Maintain filing systems and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end processes.
  • Assist in audit preparation.
  • Tax & Compliance Support
  • Maintain VAT and APIT records.
  • Organise supporting documents for tax submissions.
  • Assist in preparing schedules for statutory reporting.
  • Maintain compliance filing calendars.

Candidate Profile for both positions:

  • Part-qualified in CA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
