ASSOCIATE MANAGER - FINANCE OPERATIONS (AUS CALENDAR - AUS SHIFT)
H Connect International is a leading BPO company offering outsourcing services to clients based in the US, UK, and Australia. We are a subsidiary of the Hirdaramani Group, a billion-dollar conglomerate with a 125-year legacy. We are looking for Associate Manager – Finance Operations to join our team. This role involves completing month-end and year-end processes accurately and on time, reviewing journals and reconciliations, monitoring variances, ensuring compliance with tax obligations, finalizing year-end and acquisition entries, and supporting the senior finance team.
The Job:
- Ensure month-end and year-end processes are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Review of journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitoring monthly variances and results.
- Compliance with external obligations. (gaming tax, BAS, payroll tax, superannuation)
- Finalizing tax work papers for year-end with supporting documentation.
- Finalizing acquisition/sale-related entries.
- Assisting senior finance team as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
- CA or CPA qualified or well-progressed in studies.
- High-level financial and business acumen within a commercial environment ideally working in a Senior Finance position for at least 4–5 years for Australia/NZD clients.
- Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and curiosity to understand business drivers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Proven experience in year-end processes, taxation compliance, and application of accounting standards.
