Senior Accountant
Location: Nawala Office
Join MYAC and play a key leadership role in managing financial operations in Sri Lanka while supporting our Australian operations.
Lead Financial Operations Across Sri Lanka & Australia
Drive accuracy, compliance and business success across borders.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- 5-10 Years of Accounting Experience
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting, GST, BAS, PAYG & Superannuation
- Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable & receivable
- Manage cash flow and financial forecasting
- Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders
- Support Australian finance operations
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan and Australian regulations
- Mentor and support junior finance staff
