ACCOUNTANT VACANCY
TRADEX is a manufacturer of Soap & Detergent products in high quality with modern technology and its Head Office is located in Kurunegala. We are seeking for suitable dynamic persons for the following vacancies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, EPF/ETF, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with auditors and support annual audits
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting controls
- Support inventory and cost accounting activities
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Partly Qualified or Qualified in AAT, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Sri Lankan tax regulations will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
