Manager - Central Machinery Division

We are looking for :
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and allocate construction machinery and equipment to project sites based on operational requirements.
- Ensure the timely mobilization and demobilization of machinery.
- Monitor equipment utilization and optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
- Oversee breakdown repairs and ensure minimum downtime.
- Manage the company's fleet of construction equipment, vehicles, and heavy machinery.
- Monitor fuel consumption, repair costs, spare parts expenses, and equipment operating costs.
- Coordinate the procurement of machinery, spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Ensure effective workforce planning and manpower utilization.
- Maintain accurate records of machinery deployment, maintenance, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
- Assess new technologies and equipment to improve operational efficiency.
- Support project teams by providing technical expertise on equipment-related matters.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction machinery, fleet management, or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Experience in managing large fleets of heavy machinery and construction equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Understanding of spare parts management and inventory control.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and senior management.
- Knowledge of machinery safety standards and risk management practices.
- Experience with ERP systems, fleet management software, and maintenance management systems.
