Trainee - Receptionist / Front Desk

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees while maintaining a professional and friendly front desk environment
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Manage visitor registration, issue visitor badges, and ensure compliance with office security procedures.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing mail and deliveries, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Provide administrative and customer service support by handling inquiries, preparing documents, and assisting various departments as required.

Key Requirements

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level completed; relevant certification in administration or customer service will be an added advantage.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil will be an added advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email correspondence.
  • Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with visitors and employees.
  • Ability to manage front desk operations, handle phone calls, maintain records, and perform administrative tasks efficiently.
