MARKETING EXECUTIVE – PET FOOD & CONSUMER BRANDS

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Assent International (Pvt) Ltd — a member of the LHT Holdings Group — is expanding into Sri Lanka's fast-growing premium pet food market by introducing a portfolio of world-leading pet food brands. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to shape and drive the launch of an exciting new business vertical. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Executive to spearhead brand awareness, channel development, and consumer engagement for our pet food division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the launch of world-leading pet food brands in Sri Lanka.
- Build and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, retail, veterinary, and trade channels.
- Drive brand visibility and consumer acquisition through influencer partnerships, and on-ground activations.
- Establish and grow relationships with key trade partners — pet stores, supermarkets, veterinary clinics, and online platforms.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and refine positioning.
- Monitor and report on campaign KPIs, market share growth, and sales performance metrics.
- Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and creative agencies to ensure consistent brand standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in brand or product marketing, preferably in Pet food, FMCG, food & beverage, or consumer goods.
- Demonstrated success in new product launches or market-entry campaigns.
- Strong digital marketing skills — social media, SEO/SEM, email, and e-commerce.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Sinhala.
- Experience working with distributors, trade partners, or retail channels is an advantage.
