SAFETY OFFICER
100MW SOLAR POWER PLANT (WindForce PLC)
LOCATION – SIYAMBALANDUWA, MONARAGALA.
The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) practices across the 100MW Solar Power Plant. The role ensures compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry best practices to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
1. REQUIREMENTS
- I. Completion of a diploma from recognized institute (NIOSH SL, DOSH CIPM, Dip in OHS Colombo University) with minimum 1 year of experience.
- II. Completion of a recognized OHS certificate (NIOSH or NIBOSH) with a minimum 03-years’ experience
- III. Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage
2. KEY EXPECTATIONS
- I. Maintain legal and regulatory compliance
- II. Site safety implantation
- III. Conduct site safety training, and awareness sessions, and toolbox meetings
- IV. Capacity to work independently and confidently
- V. Capability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- VI. Support sustainability programs and related actions.
