MANAGER TREASURY SETTLEMENTS

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee end-to-end regulatory reporting for all Treasury products whilst ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strict compliance
- Monitor and authorize transactions across Money Markets, Foreign Exchange (FX), Fixed Income & Unsecured Term Borrowings
- Ensure precision and timeliness by verifying General Ledger (GL) entries within defined reporting deadlines
- Administer and manage Master Repurchase agreements and Customer agreements related to Government Securities with relevant counterparties
- Ensure the timely execution of treasury payments and confirmations
- Maintain strict adherence to all internal compliance and statutory regulations
- Monitor and manage Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) within the Treasury Back Office to proactively mitigate operational & settlement risks
- Proactively identify and implement new initiatives and process improvements
Candidate Prerequisites:
- Bachelors' Degree or Professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Banking or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Certificate in Treasury & Foreign Exchange Operations offered by the Center for Banking Studies of the CBSL or Certificate in Treasury & Foreign Exchange Operations offered by the Center for Banking Studies of the CBSL or Certificate in ACI Operations or the Diploma in Treasury & Risk Management offered by the IBSL is mandatory
- A minimum of 10 years of Treasury back-office work experience in a Commercial Bank, out of which a minimum of 02 years in a similar capacity
- Demonstrate strong analytical and numerical expertise with exceptional attention to detail
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of SWIFT operations and advanced proficiency in Treasury systems
- Sound communication skills and negotiation skills
- Exercise innovative leadership within a performance-driven culture and possess a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to take up challenges and drive the Team to achieve set targets
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to navigate challenges and deliver results
