In line with our expanding sales operations, we are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced professional to join our team as a Showroom Merchandising Manager.
SHOWROOM MERCHANDISING MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage showroom merchandising operations by maintaining world-class level of displays tiles & sanitary wares, visual standards, and inspiring customer experiences across all showroom locations.
- Ensure showroom excellence and compliance through regular audits, accurate product information, proper display maintenance, and adherence to company merchandising guidelines.
- Drive team performance and capability development of merchandising team by leading, coaching, and training showroom merchandising staff on product knowledge, visual merchandising, and customer engagement.
- Plan and execute new product launches and promotional displays in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely implementation and alignment with marketing initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and showroom performance by analyzing competitor displays, identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending innovative merchandising strategies to enhance brand presence and sales.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in showroom or retail merchandising within the tile, ceramic, building materials, sanitaryware, or hard-surface flooring industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of tile product categories - floor tiles, wall tiles, porcelain, ceramic, large-format slabs, mosaic, and outdoor pavers.
- Familiarity with tile display techniques including room-set vignettes, display panels, sample boards, and planogram-based layout planning.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical ability to track showroom performance metrics, audit compliance scores, and drive improvement.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Lanka Tiles showrooms across Sri Lanka.
- Proficiency in MS Office experience with merchandising or retail management software will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Sinhala or Tamil (written and verbal).
- Preferably below 45 years of age.
