The Debug Group is a diversified group of well-established companies in the ICT industry commencing operations since 1988. Today, the group has diversified into four sectors (Technology, Digital Printing / Signage, Investment and Hospitality & Leisure). We are on the lookout for a trustworthy, responsible and dynamic team player with an outgoing personality to join the Debug team immediately with the following pre-requisites.
Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring all installed network appliances, systems, and related infrastructure of customers site (cloud and on-premises).
- Communicate with manufactures and suppliers for select suitable product and service packages,
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining ICT-related equipment's,
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other ICT and system problems.
- Keeping up to date with IT security standards and threats development.
- Participate in other projects/tasks as assigned.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving software, hardware, network, and Audiovisual problems
- Attend minor breakdowns at client sites
- Should be able to read and interpret technical documentation related to the requirements.
- Having Knowledge about AV products will be added advantage.
- Filling & Comparing the tender specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an advanced diploma or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Systems / Information Technology.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
- Based in Western Province, but willing to travel within Sri Lanka.
- Having experience in deployment/support/management for mainstream industry solutions will be an added advantage. (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Ruckus, Citrix, etc)
- Excellent knowledge of firewall/IPS/WAF and monitoring tools.
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP-based services.
- Excellent knowledge of audio-visual-based equipment's.
