About Us
Angam Villas is a boutique villa group with two properties — Angam Villas Hikkaduwa (5 private pool villas) and Angam Villas Colombo (Kotte). We are a small, personal operation where guests feel genuinely looked after. We are growing and need the right person to convert that growth into confirmed bookings.
The Role
Content is handled. Your job is everything that happens after someone shows interest.
You monitor all inbound enquiries across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and any other platform we operate on. You respond fast, qualify the lead, pitch the right package, handle objections, and close the booking. You follow up on every lead that didn’t convert. You chase every checked-out guest for a review. Your income grows when your bookings grow.
What You’ll Own
- All DMs and comments across Instagram and Facebook for both properties — responded to within 60 minutes during working hours
- A dedicated WhatsApp Business number — your primary channel for converting enquiries to bookings
- Full booking conversation from first contact to confirmed reservation and deposit received
- Lead follow-up — no enquiry goes cold without at least two follow-up touches
- Upselling packages, add-ons, and special occasion upgrades during the booking conversation
- Post-checkout review requests for every guest you booked
- Weekly lead tracker and monthly performance report — enquiries received, conversion rate, and revenue closed
What We’ll Give You
- Monitoring access to all social media inboxes AND our WhatsApp Business number
- Complete package descriptions, pricing, availability calendar, and FAQs — a clear playbook to sell from day one
- Weekly 30-minute check-in with the owner
- Occasional visits to the Hikkaduwa property so you know what you’re selling — transport covered
Compensation
- Monthly bonus on target: LKR 40,000/month
- Commission: 10% of confirmed booking revenue from enquiries you close
- Strong months: total compensation LKR 100,000–150,000+
- Ad spend is separate — not deducted from your remuneration
You’re Right for This Role If
- You are naturally good at sales in writing — warm, persuasive, and confident without being pushy
- You write excellent English and can match your tone to different guests
- You are genuinely responsive — an unread message sitting for 3 hours makes you uncomfortable
- You have experience handling sales conversations in hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or a premium consumer brand
- You understand that every enquiry is a revenue opportunity, not an admin task
- You are Colombo-based, comfortable working remotely, and available evenings and weekends when most enquiries arrive
You’re Not Right for This Role If
- You are not comfortable handling sales conversations under pressure
- You treat enquiries as messages to be answered rather than leads to be closed
- You are not available during peak hours — evenings and weekends are non-negotiable
