Assistant Manager - Category Management & Space Planning

Location: SPAR SL (PRIVATE) LIMITED

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and execute planograms.
  • Optimize space allocation and merchandise placement to improve customer experience and maximize sales.
  • Monitor category performance and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in category management and space planning, preferably within a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make commercially sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in space planning tools; experience with SPACEMAN software will be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
