ACTUARIAL TRAINEE
FINANCE DEPARTMENT
We are seeking an individual who is aspired to excel in the field of Actuarial while supporting the achievement of business objectives.
What you do
- Extract data from the policy system and update existing actuarial databases.
- Perform initial data analysis required for the monthly/ quarterly IBNR exercises.
- Identify and extract raw data required for Pricing exercises. Feed data into/ modify data in the Allianz group reporting templates.
- Build basic actuarial models for ad-hoc management requests, using MS Excel. Documentation of new actuarial models and improve existing process documentation.
- Continuous improvement of data extraction programs written in R language.
What you bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Actuarial Science or equivalent.
- Strong desire to follow Actuarial exams.
- Competency in one or more Statistical & Mathematical programming languages (R/ Python/ SAS/ MINITAB).
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
- Effective communication skills (oral & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to meet deadlines.
