Group Security Officer In Charge
The Group Security Officer In Charge is responsible for conducting regular inspections, monitoring security operations across all Royal Institute branches and functioning as the OIC at any branch as required. The role ensures that security personnel consistently comply with institutional policies, operational procedures and professional standards while maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, visitors and school properties. The Group Security Officer In Charge also provides guidance, coaching and recommendations to enhance security effectiveness across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned locations according to approved schedules and operational requirements.
- Conduct inspections of security operations, attendance, uniforms and discipline.
- Monitor performance and provide guidance to deployed security staff.
- Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify security risks and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure security standards are consistently maintained across all locations.
- Conduct security briefings and provide on-the-job training to security personnel.
- Function as an OIC for Havelock Town and other branches whenever required.
Skills & Capabilities
- Certificate in Security Management, Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Former military, police or recognized security service experience will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in security operations.
- Experience in conducting security inspections, audits, or supervising multiple sites is preferred.
- Experience in a school, educational institution or large corporate environment will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of security operations and inspection procedures.
