Safety & Security Manager
We are looking for an Safety & Security Manager for Soneva Jani Resort.
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Safety & Security leadership role within a luxury resort or five-star hotel environment.
- Degree or professional qualification in Security Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Maldivian laws and regulations, fire life safety systems, emergency response procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Ability to lead, train, motivate, and develop a multicultural security team while maintaining high service standards.
- Proven experience in incident management, investigations, crisis response, and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all departments and engage with guests professionally.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and security reporting systems.
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety, and/or relevant security certifications will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to delivering a safe and secure environment for hosts and guests.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Passionate about luxury hospitality, sustainability, and creating exceptional guest and host experiences while maintaining the highest safety standards.
