WE ARE HIRING! ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team and assist with the day-to-day operations and contribute to the effective financial management and operational success of the university.
THE ROLE
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with department heads and staff to provide financial information and support.
- Assist in the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Handle stakeholder inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
- G.C.E. A/L or should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or part qualified in CIMA, ICASL, ACCA.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
