Account Executive
LEXUS TRADING COMPANY (PVT) LTD, a subsidiary of Lexus International Australia Pty Ltd – Australia, is a growing automotive aftermarket product distribution company representing globally recognised brands across Sri Lanka and Australia.
We are seeking a motivated and career-focused Account Executive to join our Finance & Administration Team at our Sri Lanka Head Office in Rajagiriya.
This is a junior-level position designed for an enthusiastic accounting professional who will support the day-to-day accounting operations of Lexus Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd – Sri Lanka and progressively be trained to handle offshore back-office finance operations for Lexus International Australia Pty Ltd, including Australian accounting procedures, taxation, compliance requirements, and administrative functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting activities of Lexus Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, transactions, and supporting documentation.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer and supplier reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Handle Sri Lankan tax-related functions and statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with the company's Chartered Accountants, auditors, banks, and external consultants.
- Support import documentation, banking coordination, and finance administration activities.
- Assist with offshore accounting and back-office operations of Lexus International Australia Pty Ltd – Australia.
- Learn and support Australian accounting procedures, taxation, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Perform other finance and administration duties assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
- Female candidate between 22–30 years of age.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an Accounts Executive, Accounts Assistant, or similar accounting role.
- Previous experience in Sri Lankan taxation and statutory compliance activities is mandatory.
- Part qualification in AAT, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent accounting qualification will be an advantage.
- Strong ability to work with cloud-based accounting software systems and willingness to adapt to modern digital accounting platforms.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn Australian accounting, taxation, and compliance processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and willingness to grow within an international business environment.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in and around the Rajagiriya area.
Remuneration Package
- Attractive starting remuneration package not less than LKR 80,000 per month based on qualifications and experience.
