We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and results-oriented individual to join our team in the following role:
PLANNING ENGINEER / ASSISTANT PLANNING ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in line with customer requirements and production capacity.
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production progress and revise plans to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
- Analyze production data and prepare planning, inventory, and performance reports.
- Maintain accurate production schedules and ERP system records.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and resource utilization
- Ensure timely completion of customer orders while maintaining required quality standards.
- Support capacity planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management activities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Fast React, or any ERP system will be an added advantage.
- Age between 25 – 30 years.
- Location - within 15 Km from the Katunayake EPZ
