STOREKEEPER (Construction) - Nuwara Eliya
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain goods received notes, goods transfer notes and all other documents related to the role.
- Daily issue of tools return.
- Daily material issuing and related document handling.
- Handling purchase orders.
- Handling material quotations.
- Handling petty cash, daily allowance and related documents.
- Handling staff, laborers', and security attendance records, and managing CEB, water, and telecommunications bills.
- Maintain an accurate system / physical balance at all times.
- Generate inventory reports as and when required by the Management using inventory management systems such as Sapro and also Computer Programs such as MS Office.
- Liaise with the Head Office Accounts Department on a regular basis and generate inventory related reports as and required.
- Ensure no discrepancies exist between the system stock balance and physical stock balance and be accountable for any such discrepancies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Should possess at least 2 to 3 years of experience in the construction industry in a similar capacity.
- Logistics related qualification will be an added benefit.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems such as Sapro will be an added benefit.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and other relevant computer programs.
- Should have a good command of English.
