Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) is a governmental organization affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Republic of Korea. KOFIH provides government-level health assistance for partner countries and strives to fulfill our roles and responsibilities as Korea's leading organization dedicated to healthcare support and cooperation. KOFIH has been cooperating with the Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka to strengthen the medical equipment management system in Sri Lanka since 2019. Position: A full-time Administrative Officer of KOFIH Sri Lanka Office

KOFIH runs public health operations with substantial amount of financial resources to effectively implement its collaborative program with the Sri Lankan Government. In order to successfully carry out our due mission, KOFIH is seeking one qualified Sri Lankan-national candidate to join in our office for the position of an Administrative Officer of KOFIH Sri Lanka Office.

Conditions of Contract

  • Terms of employment: From 3 August 2026 to 31 December 2026 subject to 3-months probationary period with possibility for annual extension based on work performance
  • Salary: Competitive
  • Benefits: The newly hired employee will be eligible for benefits refer to Sri Lankan Law and KOFIH regulation, after the probation period comes to an end.

Description of Duties

  • Duty hours: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
  • Duty location: KOFIH Sri Lanka office in Colombo (Employee may work any place within the project area under the instruction of the employer)
  • Work scope:
    • Assist in managing the day-to-day financial operations, including preparing budget and contracts, processing payments, managing office account and petty cash, and preparing regular financial reports.
    • Assist in preparing and managing the personnel files of the office.
    • Carry out such administrative documents and secretarial duties related to procurement administration, personnel administration, transport-security-logistics-events-printing- premises administration, ICT & Communication administration, legal & public relations administration.
    • Carry out administrative and secretarial duties, such as drafting e-mails, official letters, and contracts, answering and placing telephone calls, and receiving visitors.
    • Assist in managing office assets and supplies to be well-maintained.
    • Support team members in coordinating and facilitating goods and services for projects.
    • Assist in planning, arranging, and managing the budget for routine and special organizational functions.
    • Coordinate with the Ministry of Health, Provincial Health Departments, and other Development Partners.
    • Perform other tasks that may be required by the office.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Sri Lankan National, residency in Colombo is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, finance, accounting, international development, nonprofit management or related field with administration background.
  • At least 4 years of work experience (or 2 years after earning Master's degree) in core administration work. Work experience with GO, NGO or International Organization is preferred.
  • Strong budget development, tracking, and reporting skills using computerized accounting programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills in English and Sinhala
  • Proficiency in using MS Office
  • Must possess strong social and ethical qualities.
