Assistant Manager – Corporate Finance & Planning

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Financial Planning – Prepare annual budgets, conduct sensitivity analysis, and develop long-term financial forecasts aligned with business objectives
  • Financial Analysis & Performance Monitoring – Analyze operating margins, production costs, inventory levels, and capital expenditure (Capex) performance, while identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Project Evaluation & Business Support – Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and project appraisals to support cost improvement initiatives, new projects, and business expansion.
  • Investment & Due Diligence – Coordinate due diligence for acquisitions and perform post-implementation evaluations to assess the returns and effectiveness of Capex investments.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management – Monitor and maintain cash flow forecasts, working capital, and cash balances to ensure liquidity targets are achieved.
  • Treasury & Finance Cost Optimization – Optimize the Group's financing costs by effectively managing cash resources and minimizing overdraft interest expenses.

Basic Qualification and Requirements

  • Candidates should have fully completed the examinations of CIMA/ACCA/CA.
  • Post qualification experience of 3-4 years in corporate finance, corporate planning or management accounting functions will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy and a high level of presentation and communication skills are required.
  • Strong financial planning skills and good knowledge of management accounting practices.
  • Prepared to work with a high sense of responsibility and flexibility in working hours to achieve set targets.
