Job Description

The Area Sales Manager - Key Accounts will be responsible for managing all sales activities related to assigned key accounts, from identifying business opportunities and generating leads to negotiating and closing deals. As key account customers are located across the island, the role requires regular island-wide travel according to a planned visit schedule to maintain strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role also requires working both independently and collaboratively with internal teams to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

Job Role

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve area sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including retailers, distributors, and commercial clients.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer needs and market trends to ensure our product offerings and pricing are highly competitive.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing, and credit terms.
  • Take a proactive role in the recovery process, working with the team to ensure timely collections.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update sales and marketing documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with management to align sales efforts with company goals.
  • Attend sales meetings at the head office on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Job Requirement

  • Should be a male candidate who is fully or partially qualified in sales/ marketing.
  • 6-8 years of proven work experience in sales, preferably with building materials or related products.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to drive decisions.
  • Will ingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.
