HEAD OF LEASING

Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the financial services sector, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role in leasing/asset finance.
- Possess a Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Credit Management from a recognized university or professional qualification (e.g., SLIM, CIM) will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of leasing operations, credit risk management, and regulatory requirements in Sri Lanka.
- Proven track record in achieving business growth and portfolio management.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and relationship management capabilities.
- Sound understanding of market dynamics and competitor activities in the leasing sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing the overall leasing portfolio of the organization, ensuring a sustainable growth and profitability.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to expand leasing business in line with corporate objectives.
- Driving business development initiatives to acquire new clients and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Overseeing credit evaluation, risk assessment, and approval processes for leasing proposals in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring strict adherence to guidelines issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and other regulatory authorities.
- Monitor portfolio performance, including arrears management, recovery strategies, and asset quality.
- Collaborate with Sales, Credit, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the leasing team to achieve business targets and maintain high performance standards.
- Preparing and present periodic reports to senior management on business performance, market trends, and risk exposure.
- Identify new market opportunities, products, and partnerships to enhance the leasing sector.
