The role is responsible for assisting in outlet operations, leading and developing the team, maintaining quality and safety standards, supporting inventory and cost control, and ensuring seamless restaurant and bar operations.

Assistant Manager Restaurant and Bar
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the facility.
- Support staff leadership functions by assisting in training, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising team members to ensure efficient operations and consistent service delivery.
- Enhance the customer experience by proactively engaging with guests, addressing feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner, and building strong customer relationships.
- Assist in financial control processes, including cash handling, monitoring sales performance, and supporting inventory management and budgeting to ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar capacity as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, operational practices, and service standards.
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills, enabling effective coordination, coaching, and development of staff.
- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications, supporting efficient administrative and operational functions.
- Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent; a professional qualification or a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field will be considered an added advantage.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in line with operational requirements.
