Engineer – Maintenance
We are a subsidiary company of Mitsubishi Elevators & Escalators and an ISO-certified company in Sri Lanka, specializing in the supply, installation, modernization, and maintenance of elevators and escalators islandwide. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the maintenance operations of elevators and escalators to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
- Lead, guide, and monitor maintenance technicians to achieve operational and service excellence.
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, breakdown attendance, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage maintenance budgets and preparation of repair estimates and quotations, ensuring the timely execution of maintenance and repair works while supporting business growth objectives.
- Ensure customer complaints and service requests are attended to promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections and technical evaluations to maintain service quality and compliance with Company standards.
- Monitor maintenance schedules, service quality, and productivity to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and performance analyses for management.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and Company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of three (03) years' experience in maintenance operations, engineering services, or a similar technical field.
- Experience in the elevator and escalator industry will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong leadership, planning, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid riding/driving license.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the island to supervise maintenance operations and customer sites.
- Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
