We are the second largest hosiery manufacturing organization in the South Asian region, operating in the Katunayake Export Processing Zone over 30 years and engaged in high quality production of legwear for leading buyers in the European market. WELDER

We are a well-established socks manufacturing company seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to carry out welding, fabrication, and metal repair work required for the maintenance of factory machinery, equipment, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing high-quality welding work while ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal disruption to production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work within the facility.
• Carry out welding, fabrication, and metal repair tasks as required.
• Perform painting and touch-up work on buildings, equipment, and structures
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance-related activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance work.
• Basic welding skills (Arc, MIG, or TIG welding).
• Experience in painting, metal repairs, and fabrication work.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance will be an added advantage.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
