Uga Resorts is seeking a passionate and accomplished Executive Sous Chef to join the team at Uga Riva, where exceptional cuisine is an integral part of creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Working closely with the team, the Executive Sous Chef will play a key leadership role in overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining the highest culinary standards, and inspiring a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for a culinary professional who understands that behind every remarkable dining experience lies creativity, precision, consistency, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

The Ideal Profile We Are Looking For:

  • Proven Culinary Leadership: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role such as Executive Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment.
  • Exceptional Culinary Expertise: Strong knowledge of international and local cuisine, menu planning, food presentation, cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Operational Excellence: Hands-on experience in food safety, hygiene, HACCP standards, and kitchen compliance, with the ability to manage daily operations efficiently while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Leadership & Team Development: An inspiring leader with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of mentoring, motivating, and developing a high-performing culinary team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional Qualifications: A Diploma or Professional Qualification in Hotel Management or a related field, with recognized certifications in Food Safety or HACCP being an added advantage.
