Assistant Manager – HR & Administration (Wathupitiwala)

The Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager – HR & Administration to support and drive HR and administrative functions across our lingerie manufacturing cluster. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people management, employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
  • Support employee relations, engagement, and welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee attendance, leave administration, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate administrative services including facilities, security, transport, and housekeeping.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of HR & Administration experience, preferably in hands-on plant operation.
  • Experience in leading a team and managing the HR function is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems.
