ASSISTANT – RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

This role supports the Research & Development function by assisting in the development and improvement of innovative food products. The position involves conducting research activities, product formulation, laboratory trials, product testing, and quality evaluations while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role also works closely with cross-functional teams to support new product development projects, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • BSc Degree in Food Science & Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university
  • A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience is required
  • Good understanding of food chemistry, food processing, and product development principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for food innovation, research, and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems will be an added advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
