WAREHOUSE MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead and manage our inventory management and warehousing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the overall inventory and warehouse operations of the company, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and control of all inventory items, particularly sensitive cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels through effective stock control practices while minimizing wastage, stock losses, and unnecessary holding costs.
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with FEFO/FIFO, expiry date and batch tracking, quality standards, and strict health, safety, and regulatory requirements specific to pharmaceuticals.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations to ensure inventory accuracy and financial accountability.
- Monitor inventory movements, analyze consumption and sales patterns, and prepare inventory reports to support operational planning and cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with production, quality assurance, and sales departments to establish and maintain appropriate inventory par levels for uninterrupted business operations.
- Ensure the effective utilization of inventory management systems and continuously improve storekeeping procedures, temperature controls, hygiene protocols, and overall warehouse efficiency.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the warehouse team while ensuring compliance with company policies, operational standards, and best inventory management practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma, Degree, or a professional qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics, preferably within the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or FMCG industry.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management procedures, warehousing operations, stock control systems, supply chain practices, and proper handling of perishable/expiring goods.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage warehouse operations efficiently.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining operational and cost control standards.
