SALES EXECUTIVE – COCONUT OIL

Pelwatte Coconut Industries Limited is a leading manufacturer of premium coconut-based products, recognized for quality, reliability, and excellence. With a strong presence in the local and international markets, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to strengthen our sales team and expand the market presence of our coconut oil products across Sri Lanka.
The Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth of our coconut oil product range throughout the island by developing and managing relationships with wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and other key trade partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed sales targets and market expansion objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and other key customers.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and market segments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and distribution across assigned territories.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales reports and market intelligence.
- Represent the Company professionally while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG, edible oils, food products, or related sectors.
- Strong network and established relationships with wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and trade channels across Sri Lanka.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the island.
