ASSISTANT BILLING OFFICER

Join our team and play a key role in ensuring accurate billing operations and excellent patient service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level in Commerce, Arts, or any relevant stream.
  • A diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in billing, cashiering, or a related administrative role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Basic numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work accurately, responsibly, and confidentially.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in preparing patient bills accurately and on time.
  • Check billing details, service charges, and supporting documents for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to clarify billing-related issues.
  • Handle billing inquiries from patients and staff in a professional manner.
  • Support cashiering, payment posting, and receipt handling when required.
  • Maintain billing records, reports, and related documentation.
  • Assist in daily bill reconciliation and reporting activities.
  • Perform other billing and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
