ASSISTANT BILLING OFFICER
Join our team and play a key role in ensuring accurate billing operations and excellent patient service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- G.C.E. Advanced Level in Commerce, Arts, or any relevant stream.
- A diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in billing, cashiering, or a related administrative role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Basic numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work accurately, responsibly, and confidentially.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing patient bills accurately and on time.
- Check billing details, service charges, and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to clarify billing-related issues.
- Handle billing inquiries from patients and staff in a professional manner.
- Support cashiering, payment posting, and receipt handling when required.
- Maintain billing records, reports, and related documentation.
- Assist in daily bill reconciliation and reporting activities.
- Perform other billing and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
