Job Profile
- Provide strategic and clinical leadership across the Hemas laboratory network, ensuring high-quality, accurate and timely diagnostic services.
- Lead clinical governance, quality assurance, and accreditation initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulatory and patient safety standards.
- Drive laboratory growth through service expansion, advanced diagnostics, automation and continuous process improvement.
- Oversee laboratory operations, financial performance and quality indicators to ensure operational excellence and sustainable growth.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary laboratory teams while fostering strong collaboration with clinicians, hospital management and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- MBBS with MD/ D.Path/ MD (Clinical Pathology) or an equivalent postgraduate qualification with full SLMC registration and Board Certification as a Clinical Pathologist.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in laboratory medicine including at least 3 years in a senior leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience in managing multi site or laboratory chain management, with exposure to ISO 15189/CAP accreditation, laboratory automation, digital pathology or Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills with a commitment to clinical quality and patient safety.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and change management skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across laboratory locations as required to support operational and clinical needs.
