ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Senior Utility Technician to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the resort's utility systems. The role will oversee daily utility operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency response, and energy efficiency while supporting the Engineering team in maintaining uninterrupted essential services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and maintain resort utility systems and equipment.
- Ensure reliable supply of power, water, and other essential utilities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs.
- Monitor utility consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.
- Maintain maintenance records and utility reports.
- Supervise utility technicians and support team development.
- Ensure safety, housekeeping, and operational standards are maintained.
- Support inspections, major maintenance, and contractor activities.
- Technical qualification in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in hotel, resort, or utility operations.
- Strong knowledge of utility systems, generators, pumps, and water treatment.
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Good safety knowledge and English communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts.
- Ability to work in a remote location or island life.
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
