Join our Marine team as an Excursion Guide, where you will bring the magic of the Maldives to life through engaging, personalised and safe ocean experiences. From leading excursions and sharing your knowledge of the marine environment to creating memorable moments for our guests, this is a role for someone who loves the ocean, adventure and connecting with people.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and lead memorable marine excursions and guest activities, while maintaining exceptional guest service standards.
- Coordinate bookings, schedules and activity requirements with Barefoot Butlers and relevant resort teams.
- Actively promote and upsell excursions, marine biology programmes, watersports and other marine experiences.
- Support Marine Biology and Watersports activities as required.
- Ensure excursion and marine equipment is clean, safe, maintained and ready for use.
- Engage guests with knowledge of the local marine environment and support sustainability talks and educational activities.
- Respond proactively to guest feedback and support effective service recovery.
What We’re Looking For
- PADI Divemaster certification or above.
- Hanifaru Bay Guide Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in excursions, watersports, marine activities, hospitality or a similar guest-facing role.
- Qualification in watersports, Marine Biology or a related field is preferred.
- Strong swimming ability and confidence working in and around the ocean.
- Good knowledge of excursions, marine activities, watersports and activity safety.
- An outgoing, energetic and engaging personality with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
