Rooms Division Manager
Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa, a new 5-star Deluxe All-Inclusive Resort, is a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World, where tropical landscapes and swaying palm trees are the gateway to the refined fusion of nature and indulgence, creating an enchanting atmosphere of barefoot elegance. The Resort located in the Raa Atoll, in the northern part of the Maldives archipelago.
We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated candidate to join our humble team
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Rooms Division Manager or in a similar management role within a 5-star luxury resort, preferably in the Maldives.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience managing Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, and Villa Host operations.
- Strong knowledge of LQA standards and luxury hospitality service requirements.
- Ability to oversee the complete guest journey, from arrival and room allocation to departure.
- Experience managing VIP arrangements, guest preferences, and personalized services.
- Strong leadership skills to train, motivate, and develop a multicultural team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and departmental coordination skills.
- Proficiency in property management systems, preferably Opera, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing room inventory, occupancy forecasts, upgrades, and upselling initiatives.
- Ability to prepare departmental budgets, control expenses, and plan staffing effectively.
- Strong complaint-handling skills, with prompt follow-up and effective service recovery.
- Ability to review guest feedback, monitor departmental performance, and implement service improvements.
- Knowledge of guest privacy, workplace safety, and emergency procedures.
- A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and sound decision making under pressure.
