Public Relation & Entertainment Associate - Tours

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome, interact with and engage guests throughout their stay.
- Build positive relationships with guests and understand their interests and preferences.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, entertainment, excursions, tours, activities and local experiences.
- Actively participate in and assist with approved marine and recreational activities.
- Assist guests with snorkeling and other water-based activities in accordance with company safety procedures.
- Be comfortable and confident swimming in the sea.
- Support snorkeling trips and marine excursions where appropriately qualified and authorized.
- Assist guests with basic snorkeling equipment, including masks, fins and related equipment.
- Assist in organizing and promoting local tours and authentic Maldivian experiences.
- Have a good understanding of local islands, culture, communities, attractions, and tourism activities.
- Assist guests with island visits, cultural tours, fishing trips, sunset cruises, snorkeling excursions, and other approved activities.
- Coordinate with local guides, boat operators, tour providers, and activity partners.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations, tourism, entertainment, excursions, or recreation activities is preferred.
- Strong interest and practical exposure to Maldives tourism and local tours.
- Must be a confident swimmer.
- Previous snorkeling experience is required.
- Diving experience or certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Maldivian marine life, coral reefs, islands, and local tourism is an advantage.
- Experience with snorkeling, diving, fishing, island tours, boat trips, or other marine activities is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
