Assistant Manager, Security

Role Overview
The Assistant Manager, Security is responsible for safeguarding the safety and security of all guests, employees, assets, information, and property operations within the hotel. The role ensures a secure and resilient environment by implementing robust security protocols, conducting risk and threat assessments, managing outsourced security personnel, and responding swiftly to emerging incidents. The position also plays a key part in business continuity, data protection awareness, emergency preparedness, and ensuring alignment with CHML security standards and Group policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong understanding of hotel security operations and risk management principles.
- Knowledge of data protection fundamentals and business continuity frameworks.
- Expertise in surveillance systems (CCTV), alarm systems, and access control technologies.
- Ability to develop SOPs, contingency plans, and incident reports.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with internal teams, outsourced vendors, and local authorities.
- Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements relevant to hospitality security.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive security experience, preferably in hospitality, military, law enforcement, or corporate security.
- Proven experience managing outsourced security teams and leading multi-shift operations.
- Strong track record in risk assessments, emergency response, and incident investigation.
- Experience collaborating with local authorities and first responders.
