VACANCY
We are a leading BOI company, a manufacturer of trailers and semi-trailers in the South Asian region exporting to over 62+ countries worldwide. We are looking for efficient and energetic individuals to fill the following vacancy to strengthen our team.
CNC OPERATOR
DANKOTUWA PLANT
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate CNC Plasma, Laser, or CNC Machining equipment according to production schedules.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Set up machines, select tools, and adjust machine parameters for different production jobs.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of finished components.
- Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Monitor machine performance and identify operational issues.
- Maintain production records and daily output reports.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping (5S).
- Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance departments.
- Minimize material wastage and improve machine utilization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2–5 years' experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Experience operating CNC Plasma, Laser Cutting, P res s Brake, or CNC Machining Centers will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and cutting parameters.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work shifts when required.
