Factory Manager – Dankotuwa Factory
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely & efficient production.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Optimize the use of Manpower, Materials and equipment to maximize output.
- Ensure safe work place with all compliance, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Prepare & present regular performance to the Senior Management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Food Engineering, or equivalent CIMA qualification will be added advantage.
- 5+ years of experience as a Factory Manager or in a similar role preferably in Coconut Manufacturing Industry.
- Proficiency in Manufacturing processes, industry standard equipment & technical expertise.
- Proven ability to lead & inspire a diverse team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
