Action Valley Campus is expanding its Marketing team and is looking for a dynamic, target-driven individual to join as Assistant Manager – Marketing. This position builds and manages relationships with prospective students and corporate clients across an assigned region, develops an understanding of market and career needs, and promotes Action Valley Campus's globally recognised programmes to a wide network of individuals and organizations. The Assistant Manager – Marketing has the primary responsibility of generating interest in Action Valley Campus programs and converting that interest, and every potential lead, into a committed prospect and, ultimately, an enrolment.
Visiting corporate clients and prospective students across Sri Lanka during campaign time, organizing promotional events and awareness campaigns under the guidance of the Managing Director, and building lasting relationships that convert interest into enrolments, are also part of this role, along with coordinating the marketing network and developing student ambassadors.
A successful candidate will have a clear path to grow into Manager – Marketing, and beyond that into a senior leadership / C‑Suite position, based on performance. The applicant must be positive and energetic and have excellent relationship-building, communication, and sales skills, with a proven ability to convert potential leads into prospects. No prior degree is required for this role. The role offers freedom to work remotely under special circumstances, and an independent self-starter and problem-solver will be the most likely to succeed in this growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of a targeted potential client list to grow enrollments and sales for Action Valley Campus.
- Develop and execute a marketing and sales plan to expand the network of clients and applicants.
- Build sustainable networks and productive relationships with external clients and potential students, converting every potential lead into a committed prospect.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of all Action Valley courses and programs, and confidently represent their value, benefits and outcomes to prospective clients.
- Effectively undertake any other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Candidates should possess strong relationship-building skills, good interpersonal and people skills, and have good telephone manners. They need to be commercially minded, and the role will require meeting key clients face to face and possibly presenting in public; therefore, excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential. A confident, people-first attitude matters more than paper qualifications here. Event management skills and presenting ability will be added advantages.

Qualification Requirements:
This role does not require a formal degree. We are looking for the right attitude, strong relationship and communication skills, and a genuine drive to succeed — a background or qualification in Business Management or Marketing will be an added advantage but is not essential.
