SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER – BALANGODA

JOB ROLE
- Lead, plan, and manage all aspects of the production operation to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure effective line balancing, workflow optimization, and production layout improvements using industrial engineering principles.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve productivity, and enhance process efficiency.
- Monitor production KPIs, initiate corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Oversee workforce planning, training, and skill development to build a high-performing, motivated team.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards across the production floor.
INDIVIDUAL PROFILE
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in similar capacity especially in woven garment manufacturing environment.
- Age below 48 years.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Production, Apparel Technology, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead large teams effectively.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
