About Me

Hi,

I am Nethmi Mohotti, an software engineering undergraduate who has currently completed the 3rd year placement and is hoping to start the final year on September 2023. I obtained my primary and secondary education from Musaeus College. There, I completed my GCE Advanced level in the Physical-science stream (English Medium) in 2019. During the years I have studied as an undergraduate, I was able to research machine learning implementations with mobile development using React Native for my second-year software development module; on which my team implemented a React Native mobile application to identify snakes with the use of deep learning algorithms.

I am an active member of the Rotaract Club of IIT, who worked on many IT avenue projects such as Parallax 2021; chaired Haxmas 2022; and community service projects such as WeCan. I am a member of the blog team of the same club as a content creator that creates content for various poster series and websites. Also, I did some volunteering projects for the IEEE branch of IIT, as IX 2021 utilizing my creative writing skill.

As an undergraduate who is keen on learning new areas of technology, I am an individual who tends to give my very best on the task that I was given responsibility for, a team player who is always up to work in a collaborative environment. I am also a flexible person with good social-emotional intelligence.
