WE ARE HIRING IT SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Are you passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in both IT operations and software development? Fairway City Hotel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Systems & Software Development Intern to join our IT team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day hotel IT operations and technical support.
- Provide basic support for computers, printers, hotel systems, Wi-Fi, software, and IT equipment.
- Help troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues under supervision.
- Support hotel staff and guests with basic IT-related requirements.
- Assist with software development, testing, debugging, and system enhancements.
- Help maintain internal systems, reports, forms, and web-based applications.
- Support technology improvement initiatives and digital service projects.
- Assist with software installations, updates, backups, and routine system maintenance.
- Maintain IT support logs, inventory records, and technical documentation.
- Follow IT security policies, confidentiality requirements, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Following or completed a Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Networking, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, HTML, and CSS.
- Basic knowledge of websites, web applications, databases, and APIs.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, printers, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, and networking concepts.
- Basic understanding of software testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub, Linux, cloud platforms, or mobile applications will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work responsibly under supervision.
